Some things only become clear when you're moving.

Guided experiences that go deeper.

Where stillness meets movement

Wild Wayfinding's guided experiences bring the coaching philosophy outside into walking, into reflection, and into creative practices that surface what conversation alone sometimes can't. They invite you to slow down, notice more, and reconnect—with yourself, with others, and with the world around you.

Wayfinding Days

A Wayfinding Day is a half-day or full-day guided walking experience that combines intentional movement, reflection, and creative practice. You walk. You notice. You write, draw, or create alongside others who are doing the same. And somewhere in the walking, in the slowing down and the paying attention, something shifts.

Wayfinding Days have an unlikely origin. My sister and I were supposed to walk the Camino de Santiago in Spain in May 2020. COVID cancelled that. Two years later I created my own version instead. I created a five-day DIY pilgrimage along the Southern California coast from Long Beach to Solana Beach, with my sister, my husband, and my 83-year-old father each joining me for one day of walking. The experience captured me and I planned to do it again. The following year, however, I couldn't afford the time or money for another full week. So I walked one long day from Santa Monica to Redondo Beach—with intention, a journal, and nowhere else to be. That was the first Wayfinding Day. And it turned out to be more than enough.

The days have grown since then. Sometimes in their original format and occasionally into collaborations with other guides with themed experiences like Wayfinding Haiku and Wayfinding Watercolor. These walking experiences consistently surprise the people who show up. People arrive curious and leave glad they came.

This spring's Wayfinding Days are complimentary, a gentle invitation to walking as a mindful practice. Registration is required and all participants complete a brief waiver. Space is limited

Labyrinth Walks

The labyrinth is one of the oldest contemplative practices in human history. Walking one, even for the first time, has a way of quieting what's loud and surfacing what's underneath.

Wild Wayfinding brings a portable labyrinth to your location. The format is flexible: a structured breakout or teaching session, an all-day open invitation your group can return to throughout the event, or a workshop that teaches participants how to build one themselves. Each experience is designed for your context, your people, and what you want them to leave with.

Every labyrinth experience includes a facilitated introduction to the history and practice. Handouts are available for anyone who wants to go deeper or who arrives after the opening.

Available for organizations, businesses, conferences, retreat centers, nonprofits, faith communities, and private groups. Pricing is custom based on your context, location, and the scope of the experience.

Labyrinth Walks

“I was skeptical that I would experience anything beyond simply being refreshed by a few minutes in nature, because I've never gotten much out of mindfulness exercises such as classical meditation or yoga. I was surprised to feel profound reflection and self-discovery in the labryinth. I think what is so unique about Lea's approach is the kinetic aspect of her methods combined with focusing, but not clearing your mind.”

Wayfinding Days

“I recently had the pleasure of participating in a wayfinding event with Lea. While I have long been someone who engages in thoughtful walking, wayfinding guided by Lea took this experience to a new level! The positive take-aways have remained with me over time. I highly recommend embarking on a Wayfinding Day guided by Lea to anyone seeking a transformative experience. ”

Walk the book

Walking & Wayfinding: Create Your Own Mindful Practice, One Step at a Time, is designed to be read slowly, with attention and time to walk with each chapter. It's short and you can also read it in one sitting. If you'd like a more in-depth exploration of mindful walking, Walk the Book is a six-session facilitated read-along with me that moves through the book in community, with guided reflection and conversation along the way.

Sessions are virtual, weekly, and open to anyone who wants to go deeper into the practice of mindful walking, whether you've attended a Wayfinding Day or are coming to the book fresh.

Walk the Book begins in September 2026. Details and registration coming soon.

Wild Wayfinding Journey

Coming Autumn 2026, following Walk the Book. Details and registration coming soon.

A path worth following

Many people find their way into Wild Wayfinding through a Wayfinding Day, a mindful walking experience that opens something they want to explore further. Walk the Book goes deeper, moving through the practice in community over six weeks. The Wild Wayfinding Journey cohort goes deeper still. It's a sustained experience of coaching, reflection, and shared wayfinding with others who are navigating similar terrain.

You don't have to follow the path in order. But if you're wondering where to begin, a Wayfinding Day is a good first step.
